Preregistration for Spooky Sussex

If you are looking for a good family-friendly Halloween event, be sure to check out Spooky Sussex Village Park in Sussex, Wisconsin. They have a pumpkin decorating station, a haunted trail, and a spooky craft for kids to take home. While the event is geared towards kids, adults will be able to enjoy the festivities as well.

If you are planning on attending the event, it is a good idea to preregister. Aside from getting in the door early, preregistration will also provide you with a few other goodies, including a caramel apple station and a small ticket sized sample of their signature spooky treats. To get your name on the list, all you need to do is register by logging into your My Account account, which requires a valid email address and mobile phone carrier.

Pickleball

If you’re looking for a pickleball court in Sussex, Wisconsin, you have a few options. The Grove at Village Park is a popular pickleball spot, and the Village of Sussex has several pickleball courts at the park. These courts are not reserved, but they do have permanent nets and restrooms.

Aside from the pickleball court, the park features four half-court basketball courts, a swing set and a 14,000-square-foot playground. It also has a zip line and two 12-foot towers with climbing features. There’s also a pavilion that features a kitchenette and two rentable rooms.

The new amenities are expected to be open on Memorial Day 2020. Before the new facilities are ready, the village will hold a groundbreaking ceremony. During the event, the community will be able to explore the features of the future park. A great place to also visit is Frame Park Formal Gardens.

Carnival rides

If you are a fan of amusement parks and carnivals, you will be rewarded for your intrepidity by checking out some of the events and festivals held at Sussex Village Park. These include the New Jersey State Fair in August, the annual Lions Daze in October, and the Poteau Balloon Fest in October. The fair has something for everyone, including a mud pit race, a tethered balloon ride, and a slew of carnival rides and games. All of these are free to attend.

It is a fact that a carnival is one of the best places to spend a sunny day, especially on a hot summer’s day. For families with kids, it is a nice respite from the rigors of day-to-day life, and there are some fun things to do like taking a horse and carriage around the park, or renting a pedal powered vehicle and zipping around the pond.

Community Fun Day

Community Fun Day is a free event sponsored by Sussex Outreach Services that will feature games, food booths and fire trucks. It is an all-ages activity. However, the community will be divided into age-appropriate groups.

The Community Fun Day is a fun way for families to spend time together in a fun and safe environment. There will be face painting, games, food and more. While you’re there, check out the 18-hole disc golf course and the new playground!

There is also an Egg Drop. Participants can collect thousands of eggs dropped by the Fire Department and the Pauline Haass Public Library. To participate, children must be registered ahead of time.

In addition to the traditional egg hunt, the Pauline Haass Public Library will have a story walk. This will include a visit from the bunny, an interesting story and a petting zoo.

Reconstruction of the park

As the Village of Sussex prepares to renovate its beloved Village Park, it’s looking to get public input. This project is a multi-million dollar endeavor, and will take more than 20 years to complete.

The village plans to make improvements to the park’s infrastructure, including a splash pad and new multi-courts. This will help prepare the park for the future needs of residents.

The project is divided into four phases, and will cost approximately $13 million. It will be a multi-decade undertaking, but the majority of the work will not require a referendum. In fact, many of the improvements will be paid for with village funds.
